Our mission is to provide a close wheel-to-wheel amateur racing series based on the Subaru BRZ and Scion FR-S, aka Toyota GT86. It is a spec-series to ensure at all participants can be competitive and a win is not dependent on the drivers or teams resources.
With its low center of gravity and great factory handling, this one of the best platforms to start a modern race car series. Because of this, we are able to target a competitive car build in the $13-14k not including donor car. We also allow a near OEM car to participate which can lower the build cost to under $10k. Due to its light weight and relatively low horse power, the consumables costs are one of the lowest around. To aid with the builds, we are providing links to all of the resources to get started.
Many of the founders of this series have been in the racing world on various levels from club racing, to dirt tracks up to Grand Am/IMSA professional racing. These rules have also taken into account the other side of the coin as well. We have attempted to make some ground breaking rules that as organizers, officials and impound/compliance officers should help eliminate many of the pitfalls we’ve seen in other series over our tenure.
